Mt. Scheunemonk Mountainville N.Y. is located north west of Bear mountain and Harriman state parks. Interstate 287 the N.Y. State Thruway will get you there. It's not a state park but a private gun club. So camping and hiking is best done not during hunting season.These pics were from August of '96.
